Textured Sculptural Glaze Powder BUNDLE of 5
This bundle brings together our favorite high-character textured glaze powders, chosen for their depth, movement, and expressive fired surfaces. Each glaze is supplied as a 0.5 kg dry powder, ready for mixing and testing in your studio.
Included glazes
White Lava — a luminous, volcanic white that’s pleasantly smooth to the touch
Rough Blue Lava — Grey blue deposits with more rough lava texture
Grey Lava — stone-like greys with rugged, natural variation and rounded craters
Lichen Crawl Glaze — dramatic crawl effects reminiscent of lichen most impressive over dark clay body
Bronze Metallic — rich metallic bronze with crystalline effects
What to expect
Designed for expressive, tactile surfaces
Variation depending on clay body, thickness, and firing
Ideal for statement pieces, sculptural work, and accent details
Perfect for potters who love volcanic textures, raw surfaces, and experimental glaze results.
Firing Range
1200–1260°C (≈ 2192–2300°F)
For the look seen in my work, I recommend firing to 1260°C (≈ 2300°F).
See my online courses for detailed guidance:

Food Safety Note
All glazes are lead- and cadmium-free, however the highly textured surface is not recommended for functional food-contact areas unless used as a decorative edge.
Sold in Powder Form Only
Mixing Guidelines
Important:
You must mix the entire dry bag at once.
Because the glaze is blended by hand, the ingredients are not uniform in small scoops. Mixing only part of the bag will produce uneven results.
Application
Suitable methods:
• dipping
• pouring
• spraying
• brushing

• Avoid glaze dust — never sweep dry material.
• Clean spills or dried residue with a wet cloth only.
• Keep away from eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Ensure good ventilation during firing.
