Thank you for your interest in our ceramics! We’ve successfully shipped over 15,000 pots worldwide and are committed to ensuring your pieces reach you safely.

Over the years, we have successfully delivered our ceramics to customers across 38 countries worldwide, reaching homes and studios throughout Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Each parcel is prepared with great care and attention, and we take pride in our strong delivery track record to both local and international destinations.

Shipping Costs & Processing

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and will be displayed at checkout.

  • Order processing time: 2–7 business days. This includes carefully packing your order and arranging pickup from our rural studio.

We use various couriers depending on your location and the size of your order.

Shipping Options

Economy Standard Shipping

Sent via regular postal service.

Estimated delivery:
Europe: 1–2 weeks
Worldwide: 2–4 weeks

This option is offered as a more affordable choice. While we always pack with great care and diligence, Economy Shipping does not include insurance and therefore we are unable to offer refunds or replacements in case of damage during transit. For full protection and peace of mind, we recommend selecting FedEx insured shipping.

A faster and more secure option for valuable or fragile orders.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

• Latvia (DPD): 2–3 days
• Europe (DPD / DHL / FedEx): 4–7 days
• USA & International (FedEx): 10–20 days

Customs & Import Duties

Customs or import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges:

  • Are paid by the recipient once the parcel arrives in the destination country.

  • Vary by country and are outside of our control.
    If you have questions, please contact your local customs office in advance.

🇺🇸 SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR USA CUSTOMERS

To provide the most reliable service, shipping methods vary depending on parcel weight:

Parcels under 2 kg (4.4 lbs) — Postal Service (with pre-paid duty)

Smaller parcels are sent via registered post with duty fees pre-paid. This means no additional customs charges will be requested upon delivery.

• Delivery time: approximately 2–3 weeks
• Tracked service
• No insurance available
• No extra fees on arrival

This is the most transparent and cost-effective option for smaller items.

Parcels TO USA over 2 kg (4.4 lbs) — FedEx Express

Larger and heavier orders are shipped via FedEx Express for secure handling.

• Typical delivery time: around 10 days
• Customs processing may occasionally cause delays of up to 4 weeks
• Duty fees are paid by the recipient upon arrival according to US customs regulations

We always provide accurate documentation to support smooth customs clearance and minimise delays where possible.

Refunds & Damages

We take great care in packaging, and breakages are rare. However:

  • Inspect your items immediately upon receipt.

  • Responsibility for the parcel transfers to the delivery service once it leaves our studio.

Economy Shipping: No insurance provided. We cannot offer refunds for damages.
FedEx Shipping: Insured. In case of damage:

  • Notify us within 3 days of delivery

  • Include photos of the broken item and outer packaging

  • We’ll initiate the claim through FedEx. Please allow time for them to process it.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If there’s an issue:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery at laimaceramics@gmail.com

  • Return the item within 14 days of delivery

  • Include your order number and photos (if applicable)

Please Note:

  • Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in perfect condition to qualify for a refund.

  • Shipping costs (original and return) are non-refundable.

  • Buyer is responsible for return postage and customs fees.

  • Refunds are issued once the item is received and inspected.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items:
These cannot be returned or exchanged.

Failed Deliveries:
If an order is returned to us due to failed delivery:

  • Refunds may be issued minus the original shipping cost and 30% handling fee, or

  • You may opt for redelivery (shipping costs apply)

Handmade Nature

All items shown are examples. Due to the handmade process:

  • Sizes may vary by up to 2 cm

  • Larger mugs may vary in capacity by up to 100 ml

  • Subtle differences in color and finish are part of the charm
