Thank you for your interest in our ceramics and glazes! We’ve successfully shipped over 20,000 parcels worldwide and are committed to ensuring your pieces reach you safely.

Over the years, we have successfully delivered our ceramics to customers worldwide, reaching homes and studios throughout Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania.

Each parcel is prepared with great care and attention, and we take pride in our strong delivery track record to both local and international destinations.

Shipping Costs & Processing

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and will be displayed at checkout. It is always more effective to combine items.

  • Order processing time: 1–7 business days. This includes carefully packing your order and arranging pickup from our rural studio in Latvia, EU, where courier comes only 1-2 times per week.

We use various couriers depending on your location and the size of your order.



Shipping Options

Economy Standard Shipping (EMS POST)

Estimated delivery times:

  • Latvia : 2–5 days

  • Europe: 1–2 weeks

  • Worldwide: 2–4 weeks

This is a tracked postal service. Once the parcel arrives in the destination country, delivery is handled by your local postal provider or a partner courier, depending on local logistics and the final destination.

Because delivery is completed by different postal networks around the world, the final delivery experience may vary from country to country. In some regions parcels are delivered directly to your address, while in others they may be held for collection at a local post office or parcel shop.

Tracking is provided throughout the journey and can be monitored using the tracking number supplied with your order.

  • USA: EMS is typically handed over to the United States Postal Service for customs processing and final delivery. Depending on the destination and local logistics, USPS may complete the delivery itself or occasionally use a contracted last-mile carrier.

  • United Kingdom: EMS is handled through Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide, which is part of the EMS network and works closely with Royal Mail. Parcelforce usually completes the delivery, though some shipments may enter the Royal Mail network for the final stage.

  • La Poste / Chronopost (Chronopost is the EMS operator within the La Poste group)

  • Once the parcel arrives in Germany, it is typically transferred to Deutsche Post / DHL for final delivery. Depending on the destination, parcel size, and local delivery procedures, DHL may deliver the parcel directly to your address or redirect it to a nearby DHL Parcel Shop, Packstation, or post office for collection.

    As the final delivery is carried out by Deutsche Post / DHL, delivery notifications, collection procedures, storage periods, and delivery attempts are subject to their local policies and may vary between regions.

EXPRESS SHIPPING

Estimated delivery times:

  • Europe (DPD / DHL / FedEx): 3–8 days

  • USA & International (DHL/FedEx): 3–10 days


For larger orders, urgent deliveries, or upon request, we can upgrade your shipment to an express courier service, most commonly DHL.

Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days worldwide once the parcel has been dispatched (this is in addition to our standard 1–7 business day preparation time needed to carefully pack and process your order).

This service includes full tracking and is generally delivered door-to-door, offering a faster and more predictable delivery experience than standard postal services.

  • Customs or import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

    These charges are paid by the recipient once the parcel arrives in the destination country.

  • For USA orders:
    Ceramic pieces are currently subject to an estimated 14.5% import duty, which will be billed upon delivery.

    Glaze powders shipped to the USA are sent via EMS Post with duties prepaid, so no additional import fees will be due upon arrival.

  • While both EMS Post and DHL offer optional shipping insurance, the reality is that third-party courier claims are slow and provide only partial compensation. Couriers reimburse only a fraction of the order value, shipping costs are not recoverable, and claims may take 30 days or longer to review and process.

    For this reason, we choose to take responsibility ourselves.

    If a parcel arrives damaged, we handle the issue directly with you rather than asking you to navigate lengthy courier claim procedures. We stand behind our packaging and shipments and will work with you to find a fair solution, whether that involves replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.

    Our goal is simple: to make sure you receive your order safely and to provide a more personal and reliable level of support than a third-party courier can offer.


Refunds & Damages

We take great care in packaging, and breakages are rare. Inspect your items immediately upon receipt. In case of damage contact us within 3 days of receiving the package.

To process a claim we require:

  • Photos of external packaging

  • Photos of internal packaging

  • Photos of the full contents received

  • Close-up photos of the damaged item(s)

Without this documentation, courier claims cannot be initiated.

Once the claim is reviewed, we will offer a refund, voucher or replacement, if possible.

DELAYED OR LOST DELIVERIES

On rare occasions, a parcel may become delayed or lost in transit — enjoying its own unexpected adventure in the postal abyss.

Please know that we look forward to your parcel’s arrival just as much as you do. If a shipment appears delayed, we will do everything possible from our end to help locate it.

  • If a parcel is officially declared lost by the postal service, we will issue a store voucher for the value of the item (excluding shipping costs)

  • Please note:

    • A parcel can take up to 60 days to be officially declared lost

    • An official non-delivery confirmation from the postal service is required before voucher can be issued

FAILED DELIVERIES

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer

  • Failure to pay applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees

  • Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts

  • Failure to collect the parcel from a designated collection point

A second shipping fee will be required before the order can be re-dispatched.

Once the parcel has been returned, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

As all pieces are handmade or prepared specifically for each order, we do not accept cancellations after purchase. If you choose not to pay the re-shipping fee, we may, at our discretion, issue a store voucher for the value of the order minus the original shipping costs, any customs or import charges incurred by us when receiving the parcel back, and a 30% restocking and handling fee.

Please note that some countries charge import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or carrier processing fees when a parcel is returned internationally. Any such costs charged to us will be deducted from the voucher value.

The restocking and handling fee helps cover payment processing charges, packaging materials, administrative costs, and the time invested in preparing and fulfilling the order.

If no re-delivery arrangement is made within 30 days of the parcel being returned to us, the order will be considered abandoned and no refund, voucher, or replacement will be issued.

Returns, CANCELLATIONS

Due to the handmade nature of our work, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Handmade variations in glaze, shape, texture, and size are part of the character of our work and are not considered defects

All items shown may be examples, unless specified as the actual one-off item.
