This website is operated by Laima Ceramics, an independent ceramics studio based in Latvia (European Union).

By visiting our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including any additional policies referenced herein (such as our Shipping Policy, Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or our services.

Our online store is hosted by Squarespace, Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products online.

2. ELIGIBILITY & USE OF THE WEBSITE

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • You will not use our products or website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

  • You will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

3. HANDMADE NATURE OF PRODUCTS
Due to the nature of ceramics:

  • Each piece is unique

  • Variations in colour, texture, glaze flow, and form are normal and expected

  • Product photos are representative, not identical to the item you will receive

These natural variations are not considered defects, but part of the character of handmade work.

4. PRODUCTS, PRICING & AVAILABILITY

  • All prices are listed in EUR (€) unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices include VAT where applicable, in accordance with EU regulations.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to update prices or discontinue products at any time.

Most items are made to order. Production times are estimates and may vary depending on season, kiln schedules, and order volume.

5. ORDERS & PAYMENT

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any order at our discretion

  • Limit quantities per customer or order

  • Cancel orders if payment information is inaccurate or fraudulent

You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information and to update it promptly if changes occur.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All shipping terms, delivery estimates, and responsibilities are outlined in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to customs, courier delays, or force majeure events beyond our control.

7. RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU)

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU):

  • You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item unless the item is made to order or customised.

  • Made-to-order and custom pieces are exempt from the right of withdrawal, as permitted under EU law.

8. DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photos of:

  • The damaged item

  • Internal packaging

  • External packaging

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website — including text, images, product designs, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of Laima Ceramics, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
