stoneware glaze bundle
Glaze bundle to try all our favorite special-effect glazes suitable foR stoneware:
The bundle includes:
0.5kg white lava
0.5kg grey blue rough lava
0.5kg white lichen
0.5kg Stone matte beige crackle
0.5kg Snow white matte/gloss
0.5kg matte black silver
Recommended for high-fired stoneware and porcelain.
!!! For best results we recommend firing range 1240-1260 C
Sold in powder form only.
Mixing guidelines: Add water proportionally 1:1 to begin with, after sieving adjust with little extra water as needed to achieve the desired thickness. Generally 500g (1.1 lb) of glaze makes about 800ml (27oz) of liquid glaze.
Add water, put through a sieve and good to go. YOU MUST MIX THE WHOLE dry mix into water (as we mix glaze by hand it is not uniform yet, if you take just half in water the ingredients will not be even!)
WARNING!
Do not ingest.
Use gloves when mixing and applying product. Keep away from eyes. If product gets into eyes rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid dust and dry glaze build up from evaporation of solution. Wash with a wet cloth only and do not sweep or dust off. Ensure adequate ventilation during firing.
