Perfect Matte — Glaze Powder
Perfect Matte is exactly that — a beautifully balanced matte glaze with a soft, pleasant surface and a subtle buttery feel.
It has a smooth, refined finish without feeling dry or chalky, making it equally lovely to touch and practical to use. Unlike many very dry matte glazes, Perfect Matte is suitable for functional ware, making it a versatile choice for everyday tableware as well as decorative pieces.
Recommended Firing Range
Cone 6–8 (1200–1260°C / 2192–2300°F)
Pictured samples are fired to 1260°C (Cone 8, ≈ 2300°F).
Lead-free • Cadmium-free
Mixing Guidelines
Begin with 0.8:1 water-to-powder ratio.
Sieve thoroughly.
Add a little extra water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
IMPORTANT:
You must mix the entire dry bag at once.
Because the glaze is hand-blended, ingredients are not perfectly uniform in small portions. Mixing only part of the bag will produce uneven results.
Yield reference:
500 g (≈ 1.1 lb) of dry powder makes approx. 800 ml (≈ 27 fl oz) of liquid glaze.
Application Methods
Apply an even coat using any method:
• dipping
• pouring
• brushing
• spraying
