A fresh green tq glossy glaze with delicate tiny crystalline formations that add subtle texture and movement to the surface.
Despite being a crystalline glaze at cone 8, is relatively well behaved and does not run excessively when applied in a reasonable thickness. Even without a dedicated crystalline firing schedule, it will develop small crystals during a standard firing.
Pictured on both porcelain and stoneware, where it performs similarly on both clay bodies.
The porcelain piece also shows FROSTY layered with GREEN LAVA, creating an interesting combination of glossy tq green, crystalline details and the more textured surface of the lava glaze.
Recommended Firing Range
1200–1280°C (Cone 6–9)
Pictured samples are fired to 1260°C (Cone 8, ≈ 2300°F).
Glaze may be more runny at 1280 C.

Begin with 1:1 water-to-powder ratio.
Sieve thoroughly.
Add a little extra water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
IMPORTANT:
You must mix the entire dry bag at once.
Because the glaze is hand-blended, ingredients are not perfectly uniform in small portions. Mixing only part of the bag will produce uneven results.
