A highly decorative & sculptural glaze that creates a rich, volcanic texture in the firing.
This glaze develops a dynamic, cratered surface — alive with movement and depth.
Once you purchase a glaze recipe, you will receive a secure link via email which will allow you to download a PDF file with the information you need to reproduce the glaze, including a recipe, a firing schedule, and some notes.
This glaze is Lead- and Cadmium-free, however the highly textured surface is not recommended for functional food-contact areas unless used as a decorative edge, as seen in my pottery.
1240–1260°C / ≈2264–2300°F
Cone 7–9
Suitable for high-fired stoneware and porcelain.
