A beautiful, highly decorative glaze that creates a rich, volcanic texture in the firing.
Compared to WHITE LAVA, this glaze has a drier feel to the touch. The craters form a different kind of structure beneath the surface, and the colour shifts slightly toward an off-white tone. While WHITE LAVA can feel almost silky when fired to 1260°C, this glaze retains a more dry, tactile surface.
Lead-free & Cadmium-free.
1240–1260°C (≈2264–2300°F)
Cone 7–9
Suitable for high-fired stoneware and porcelain.
