Sushi set - Wabi-Sabi bronze/volcanic rock
An organic, minimalist stoneware sushi serving set consisting of one elongated plate and one tiny dip bowl — thoughtfully designed for soy sauce, condiments, or small accompaniments.
The gently irregular form and quiet asymmetry reflect the spirit of wabi-sabi, celebrating the beauty of handmade objects and the calm elegance of imperfection.
Each piece is handcrafted from black stoneware and high-fired to 1240 °C (≈ 2265 °F), making it strong, non-porous, and suitable for everyday use.
The exterior and base remain natural vitrified black stoneware, grounding the pieces with a raw, tactile presence. Inside, the surfaces are finished with a matte bronze glaze featuring delicate crystalline development. On one side, a subtle volcanic glaze inlay adds a sculptural accent. While visually textured, the surface remains pleasant to the touch and comfortable in everyday use. Gentle handwashing is recommended to preserve the glaze finish over time.
A timeless and functional addition to daily rituals, sushi evenings, and shared table moments.
Sizing
• Elongated Sushi Plate
Length 31 cm, width 14 cm
