Hand-Building Ceramics Workshop
A calm, creative, and meditative ceramic experience
A quiet, hands-on, and grounding process, suitable for both small and larger groups.
This workshop is like a gentle pause — a moment to slow down and create with your hands. From a single piece of clay, you will form a small vessel for everyday use: a bowl or a tea cup.
We work seated together around a large shared table, creating a relaxed, open atmosphere that naturally invites conversation and connection.
How does the workshop unfold?
A short introduction to the ceramic studio
An overview of the ceramic-making process
Hands-on creating at the table
Each participant forms their own vessel from grey stoneware clay, decorating it with wooden stamps.
All pieces are finished with our beige Stone Collection glaze (like pictured).
The process is clean — no special clothing needed.
Please note: short fingernails are important for working comfortably.
What happens after the workshop?
After drying, firing, and glazing, your finished piece will be delivered by courier (DPD).
All pieces are:
✓ food safe
✓ dishwasher safe
✓ durable and suitable for everyday use

More than a workshop
This is not only a chance to make your first ceramic piece —
it is an experience where hands move more slowly than the mind, and every gesture reminds us how natural it is to create.
If you feel curious to try something new, to touch the material, and to create with your hands — this workshop is a beautiful beginning.
Welcome to Laima Ceramics studio — in the Rundāle countryside.
