2 day class - Intermediate/ advanced for individuals/couples.
You will begin with preparing wheelthrown body of teapot, make the necessary attachments (lid, spout, handle) and assemble everything in a functional and aesthetic way.
We will cover everything from:
making a spout
making a well fitting lid
various handle designs
view samples of LaimaCeramics designs and get insider info on the various methods used.
Included materials for making 1 teapot, firing and glazing.
10:00- 13:00 - 3 hours class (demo, wheel throwing all the parts-body, spout, lid, handle preparation)

next day 10:00- 11:00 - 1 hours class (trimming and assembly of the parts)
The piece will be left in the studio for glazing and firing for 1month - after this possible to arrange worldwide shipping.
Individual class, max 2 people at a time, price per person.

Note this is intermediate/advanced level- not suitable for complete beginner. You need to know how to get to decent cylinder stage already to be able to complete this class on the wheel. *If you haven’t thrown on the wheel before this class wont be suited for you, we recommend to start with regular wheel lessons before to learn basic centring and cylinder shapes.
