Client Spotlight – A German Retreat on Land & Sea
It is always a special moment when new clients place their full confidence in both our work and our vision. Recently, we had the joy of collaborating with a wonderful new client in Germany, who trusted us to create several bespoke ceramic sets for their thoughtfully designed guest house, as well as tea and coffee service for daily use — and even for their yacht.
This commission became a beautiful exercise in balance and dialogue between form, surface, and setting. Together, we curated a refined mix-and-match selection that feels both cohesive and expressive, allowing each environment to carry its own atmosphere while remaining unmistakably Laima Ceramics.
The sets included a rich combination of pieces from our signature collections:
Stone Collection – grounding, tactile and timeless
Sahara Collection – soft, sandy elegance in matte beige porcelain
Mamo Collection – pure, contemporary minimalism
Rust Collection – warm, earthy tones with depth and character
Moon Collection – poetic contrast and subtle lunar texture
Alongside these, we also created a selection of custom-made pieces tailored specifically to the client’s vision and lifestyle — ensuring harmony between ceramics, interior design, and the rhythm of daily rituals, whether on land or at sea.
There is something deeply rewarding about seeing our work travel beyond the studio and find a home in beautiful spaces across the world — becoming part of quiet morning coffees, shared gatherings, and moments of pause overlooking shifting horizons.
We are grateful for the trust placed in us and honoured to be part of this refined, thoughtful world where ceramic objects are not only functional, but integral to atmosphere, experience, and understated luxury.
