Porto Photoshoot
Our 10,000 km journey to Portugal was never just about distance. It was about movement, shifting rhythms, and discovering new layers of ourselves — accompanied by our puppy Džera, whose gentle presence turned every stop into a moment of grounding and joy.
This journey was shared with my now husband, Krišjānis — and somewhere along the way we realised that when we truly move as a team, something beautiful happens. A kind of effortless flow. A shared creative pulse. A quiet magic.
And so, spontaneously and without grand planning, a photoshoot was born.
In a random Airbnb in Vila Nova de Gaia, just outside Porto, we transformed a temporary space into our own little creative stage. I had brought with me a carefully packed box of pottery from my 2022 Stone Collection, and Krišjānis had his photography equipment. Together, we allowed the light, texture, and atmosphere to guide us.
The contrast of raw ceramics against the soft intimacy of an unfamiliar interior created something deeply sincere. Stone, shadow, Portuguese light, and a shared vision.
This shoot became more than documentation. It became a memory of partnership, trust, and love in motion. Proof that when two people create side by side, the result is often more than the sum of its parts.
A moment captured on the road — between destinations, between breaths — held forever in images.
Enjoy.
