WHEELTHROWING

MAKING HEIRLOOM DINNERWARE

THE HEALING POWER OF HORSES

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CERAMICS and HORSES

This is a custom-made offering for a family or group of friends of up to 4 persons. This creates a cosy, friendly atmosphere where your needs can be met.

Holistic heart space setting to re-charge, find fresh strength and inspiration and an exciting intro in the different modalities of ceramic world and getting to know our herd of horses and their language. A real deep dive in the creative sanctuary I have created here in the middle of nowhere that became really somewhere!

This course is organized on-request for a family of up to 4 persons and can include any combination of ages (4 adults, 2adults+2 children etc) . Price is all inclusive for the whole group of up to 4 persons.

LESSON LENGTH

Included is 4 hours of guided sessions per day, each immersion is suited for the individual group, I will custom design your classes to suit your wishes.

Some of the available options are:

WHEEL LESSONS : I can cover everything from preparing the clay, to centring and pulling up a cylinder and further shaping techniques, as well as trimming in the next day. Having taught hundreds of beginners I have an eye for detail and fun way to make each step memorable and easy to understand not just technically, but also energetically. The whole art of living is within the microcosm of the wheel-practice.

DINNERWARE: We can make your own dinner-set in slab-rolling method- allowing you to create professional looking dinner set in just a few hours. Have a look at my dinner sets to see examples of what can be created under my guidance. Both kids and adults love pressing our range of wooden stamps and plants into plates to make lovely patterns.

HORSEMANSHIP: we begin with theory and art of horse communication, continue by observing the herd movement and practicing basic communication from the ground. My priority is to make a safe place for both you and the horses, in this sanctuary we look for inter-species harmony and communication. Healing comes naturally, is both given and received in this space. We don’t offer riding lessons. Meet our herd!

HAND BUILDING: We will explore hand-building cups and bowls and adding various textures. We have several “tricks” to allow also kids and total beginners to create functional and beautiful pieces even in their first time with clay.
