Lord of Peace – A Rare Young Partner Raised with Heart and Intention

Looking for a young horse who hasn’t been “broken,” but instead raised with patience, care, and mutual trust? One whose natural willingness and authenticity have been cherished and nurtured from the very beginning? Then this rare opportunity might be what you’ve been searching for.

🌿 Meet Lord of Peace (Miervaldis), a 6-year-old Andalusian/Hanoverian gelding 🌿

Lord of Peace has been raised by me, Laima, from a foal — in a calm, family-centered environment where every step of his growth has been guided with kindness and respect. No time or resources have been spared to give him the best possible start in life. His education has been slow, thoughtful, and always focused on creating a confident and happy partner.

Experience & Training

  • Well-socialized: Lives in a small mixed herd of four, outdoors 24/7, with free access to shelter.

  • Groundwork & exposure: Has gone on many long hikes with other horses, comfortable with umbrellas, tarps, play balls, machinery, and all sorts of sounds and environments.

  • Groundwork foundation: Enjoys learning tricks like stepping onto a pedestal and Spanish walk, has free-jumped, worked with cavaletti and Equiband, and understands lunging done calmly and correctly.

  • Under saddle: Still green, but progressing beautifully. Walk, trot, and halt are solid; he’s sensitive to light aids and eager to please, with a few easy canters in the arena already. He happily stops on an exhale.

  • Trailer loading: Loads straight away — usually within 30 seconds — and has already completed several long journeys with a companion.

Health & Care

  • Sound and healthy, with regular farrier (barefoot) and dental care.

  • Fed steamed hay in slow feeders, plus a carefully balanced supplement routine.

  • Early x-rays at age 3 showed mild kissing spine, which has been closely managed from day one — his comfort and back health have always been top priorities. He shows no sensitivity when saddled or ridden.

Pedigree

  • Sire: PRE stallion Ligero de Gredos

  • Dam: Hanoverian mare Harmony (seen in the last photo)

  • Grand-sire: PRE Revoltoso XXIX

  • Full pedigree: see reference code 57247 on the breeder’s website.

Personality & Potential

Miervaldis is sensitive yet grounded, playful yet deeply connected — a horse who thrives on genuine partnership. He loves variety and will shine in liberty, dressage, groundwork, hacking, or simply spending time together.

He is currently being trained with the Balance Through Movement Method (BTMM), which focuses on developing both physical balance and emotional resilience. Continuing this work would be ideal for his wellbeing and future development.

“BTMM empowers owners with clear principles that nurture the horse’s body and nervous system — adaptable to any discipline and any level of rider.”

For His Future Home

Because of his sensitivity and intelligence, he deserves a compassionate, educated owner who values relationship and patience over results. Only a 5⭐️ home will be considered — one that provides species-appropriate living and a deep respect for the horse as a partner.

💎 He is not just a horse for sale — he’s a beloved member of our family, raised with intention and love.
If you feel drawn to him, please write and tell me a little about yourself and your setup.
