Introducing the collection “REEF” — a wheel-thrown ceremonial porcelain range brought alive through a gorgeous combination of five distinct glazes. Each surface shifts between depth and light, echoing the richness of coral reefs and the ever-changing moods of the sea. These pieces are not just functional objects, but vessels of presence, ritual, and sensory experience.

The REEF Collection was born from a moment of deep inhalation — a breath of fresh air after two years of pandemic stillness and near-constant studio solitude. My Kundalini Yoga retreat in Sardinia, Italy, with the radiant Bella Sardinia, awakened something within me that I did not even realise had been waiting.

Surrounded by turquoise waters, salt-kissed air, and the rhythmic pulse of the Mediterranean, I felt reconnected to a more fluid, expansive version of myself. And when I returned to the studio, this body of work flowed through me with such spontaneity that it surprised even me.

As many know, my usual palette leans toward subtle earth tones — quiet, grounded, restrained. But the Sardinian turquoise was simply too powerful to ignore. It spoke of clarity, depth, and renewal. It demanded expression.

And so, REEF emerged.

These forms feel alive with ocean memory — luminous surfaces echoing sunlit water, mineral textures whispering of coral and stone. Each piece holds a unique interplay of glaze, celebrating unpredictability and the beauty of layered transformation.
