Green Gold, Pink and MATTE CRYSTAL Glaze EBOOK (Digital Recipe Download)

€90.00

This e-book brings together a trio of complementary studio glazes, designed to work both independently and in layered combinations.

Green Gold is a glossy green glaze that performs beautifully on both porcelain and stoneware. When applied generously, it develops warm gold crystalline movement; when thinner, it softens into a matte, yellow-toned surface.

Satin Pink is a dusty, natural pink with a quiet satin sheen. When layered over Green Gold, it transforms the surface into a soft pastel green, creating a gentle, luminous variation that has become a studio favorite.

The third glaze, Matte Crystals, is not intended for use on its own. It is a specialty top layer, developed to introduce a matte, crystalline texture over other high-fire glazes. Applied selectively, it encourages crystal growth that breaks up gloss, adds visual depth, and creates the distinctive crystalline transitions seen in the finished pieces.

How to Achieve the Pictured Effect

To recreate the surface shown on the green cups:

  1. Apply the two-layer combination from the Luminescent Pearl recipe (Green Gold + Satin Pink).

  2. While the glaze surface is still workable, apply a third layer of Matte Crystals glaze in selected areas.

  3. Where the top layer is applied thickly enough, the underlying glaze will shift from gloss to matte, and crystalline structures will develop.
