Moon Collection – Lace Born of Fire

I have been working with lava and volcanic glaze for many years, yet this particular finish feels like a revelation — a moment where raw force meets unexpected delicacy. By introducing a subtle inlay of volcanic texture within the purity of a white surface, a new dialogue emerged: contrast, tension, and surprising softness.

The rich, bubbling surface — shaped by trapped gas and heat — suddenly began to resemble lace. Not the fragile lace of thread and fabric, but a wild, elemental lace formed by volcanic breath and molten movement. A geological embroidery. A pattern born not from ornament, but from reaction, time, and transformation.

This quiet inlay between expanses of pure white creates a visual rhythm: a meeting point between texture and stillness, chaos and calm, earth and moonlight. It feels both ancient and refined.

Beyond its visual poetry, the volcanic surface also carries a deeply practical quality. The textured inlay provides natural grip, making each piece more comfortable and secure in the hand, while the glaze composition remains fully dishwasher safe — allowing beauty and functionality to coexist without compromise.

In the Moon Collection, softness and strength merge. What appears fragile is in fact resilient. What looks decorative is elemental.
